The World Rolls By

Life is so incredibly hard. And so incredibly beautiful.

I look at the kids I teach with all that youth and promise and I know I wouldn’t, couldn’t, go back there.

I am watching the world roll by my window and I think of all the ground I have touched. I probably have less time ahead of me than I do behind me, but I think my attention is so much more present that the gravity of time dips heavier on my page, making each day weigh more.
